Queen Esther:
For
Such a Time as This
In a time
when the Jews were living in captivity in Persia, God had a
divine plan and purpose for a young orphan girl named Hadassah.
From captivity to captivating, God raised her up from the king’s
harem to become Esther, Queen of Persia
who was instrumental in preventing the annihilation of the Jews.
Through her story, we learn the importance of
Perspective,
Preparation, Purpose,
Prayer and Protocol
wherever God chooses to strategically place us. Though God is
not mentioned by name in the book of Esther, He was working
behind the scenes in her life to deliver His people. Though we
may not always recognize His presence in our situation, He is
working on our behalf for a divine plan and purpose.

Ruth:
A Story of Romance and Redemption
The book of
Ruth is a portrait of God’s love, grace and sovereignty in our
lives when we choose to step out in faith and walk in obedience.
Two women, Naomi and Ruth, have experienced overwhelming loss
and are destitute. Yet, God was working in the midst of their
tragedy. He was not only orchestrating a plan to restore them,
but to redeem a lost and dying world. Through Naomi and Ruth, we
learn the importance of faith, loyalty and commitment in any
relationship, and how we can experience true love and
fulfillment through the romance of the Divine.

D’vorah: A Woman of Influence Judges 4 and 5
During a dark
time in Israel's history, God raised up a woman of great faith
to deliver a people oppressed by the Canaanites. Her name was
D'vorah and she held court under a palm tree. She was a wise
judge, prophetess and courageous military leader who turned the
heartbeat of a nation back God. She was a patriotic woman who
loved God, her country and the people she led. She was one of
several women in the Bible who God used to serve in a leadership
role. She was a woman who used her influence to glorify God.
D'vorah is an incredible role model of faith in action. She
stepped out in faith, regardless of her gender, and is credited
for setting a nation free. Her faith in the one true God gave
her the confidence, courage and competency to influence a nation
and lead them to victory!
