Dr. Caroline Leaf is a neurologist from South Africa who has researched the human brain since 1981. She is the author of The Gift in You and Who Switched Off My Brain? Her most recent book: Who Switched Off Your Brain?, is more than a marriage or relationship book. It is filled with key insights that will help you better understand the often mysterious behavior of the opposite sex and practical tips that will quickly improve your relationships. Dr. Leaf has been received all over the world by a variety of audiences due to her unique ability to link the scientific principles of the brain to intellectual and emotional issues in a simple and practical way. Through years of research she developed the Geodesic Learning® theory and the unique Switch On Your Brain™ 5-Step Learning Process and the Metacognitive-Map®. Dr. Leaf has published articles in academic journals, consumer magazines and has been interviewed in newspapers, on radio and television. Lisa Luby Ryan is a talented interior designer, influential Dallas entrepreneur, and enthusiastic community and political leader. She is the proprietor of Vintage Living, a trend-setting European antiques and home furnishings boutique in Dallas. Lisa’s design expertise has been recognized by her peers, who selected her "D Home" magazine’s Best Designer 2004 through 2010. She has been named in "Who’s Who of National Interior Designers" and "Who’s Who of International Entrepreneurs." Lisa’s home was featured on the covers of "Veranda" (November/December 2008) and "British Country Homes & Interiors" magazines. Her work also has appeared in "Traditional Home" and "Country Home" magazines, as well as in Dallas area news and trade media and two coffee table books. A board member of the Council for Life, Lisa is a sought-after public speaker who frequently is honored to testify about the role God plays in her life. Lisa's involvement in community activities includes fundraising for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, assisting with extracurricular needs at The Shelton School and Highland Park High School, and participating in events sponsored by the Women’s Auxiliary of the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. Erin Leu, Esq., is a constitutional attorney with Liberty Institute which is dedicated to protecting freedoms and strengthening families. Erin is a native Texan and a 2009 graduate of the Harvard Law School. During her time at Harvard, she was in the leadership of the Society for Law, Life, and Religion, served as a Senior Editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, and was an active member in the Federalist Society. Erin is a Blackstone Fellow and has worked for the Senate Judiciary Committee for Senator John Cornyn and as an intern for House Speaker Tom Craddick on the Human Services Committee. Erin graduated with highest honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006, with degrees in both economics and government. Today Liberty Institute employs a team of experienced full-time Constitutional attorneys and also works with many volunteer attorneys who donate their time. Some of their recent cases include representing all of the major veterans groups in the high-profile Mojave Desert Cross case and helping defend Hannah Giles, the "undercover" journalist who videotaped ACORN's corruption for a national audience. What began in a garage apartment in Plano, Texas, nearly 40 years ago, has grown into an influential public policy and non-profit legal organization dedicated to the promotion and protection of traditional family values and Constitutional freedoms.
